Joel Zylstra
Co-Founder, Retired
Joel Zylstra is a retired healthcare executive with over 35 years of industry experience. He previously served as President of Operations at Encoris, where he led significant growth and operational success.

Jim TenBrink
Co-Founder, VP, Sales & Marketing
Jim has 19 years of experience in the medical device industry.
Jim is a creative problem solver and visionary, working with Fortune 100 medical device companies, strategizing and developing product solutions that enhance and drive their marketing, sales, clinical, surgical, and medical skills training goals and objectives.
As the Senior Business Development Manager for Medical Accessories & Research Corporation, Jim has increased territorial sales by over 700%, securing large, key multimillion-dollar accounts.
Before working for MARC, Jim worked at J.B. Laboratories, a pharmaceutical manufacturer supplying corporate giants such as Kellogg Corporation and Herbalife International. Jim served as Account Manager, spearheading the company’s largest account, Herbalife. He increased account revenues by 25% and led all facets of the initial manufacturing process to provide 98 percent total client satisfaction.
Jim’s start into medical sales began in Nashville, Tennessee as Lead Project Manager in medical furniture sales at Interior Design Services, Inc., the largest Steelcase dealer in the southeast. He was the company’s top producer, landing the company’s largest purchase agreements with key purchasing groups such as HCA and PHG. Jim’s history also includes acquiring skills in world-class customer service training at Herman Miller, Inc., a billion-dollar global furniture manufacturer.

Harley Domasik
Operational Manager
Harley has 17+ years of model-making experience in the medical device industry.
He started his career after completing vocational school, working at Medical Accessories & Research at the ground level. Here, Harley learned the tricks of the trade, working alongside senior-level engineers and model makers, quickly rising in rank to become the head model maker responsible for driving key projects and product lines.
As the Operations Manager at Encoris, Harley leads manufacturing and engineering while maintaining cost and quality controls and output.
He has extensive knowledge in all things manufacturing, keen model development know-how, and process and material application that significantly boosts a model’s performance and, most importantly, the end-user experience.
Harley prides himself on his integrity, expert knowledge, and extensive model and tool-making experiences, a tremendous skill base to build and lead Encoris’ precision quality and product innovations.

Jennifer Smith
Director of Market Development
With a passion for medical innovation and a keen eye for detail, Jennifer’s professional journey is committed to achieving client objectives and advancing medical education through cutting-edge surgical training models.
Before joining the Encoris team, Jenn served as National Business Director at BioTras Holdings. From designing intricate medical training models to spearheading sales and marketing initiatives, she was instrumental in every aspect of the process.
Her comprehensive understanding of medical devices and clinical education contributes powerfully to Encoris’ mission to expand its surgical educational line of products, bridging the gaps between theory and practice.
Jenn thrives on bringing complex medical concepts to life by leveraging her extensive expertise to create engaging educational experiences.
With a strong background in sales as a licensed Realtor, Jenn Smith is a pro at cultivating strong, lasting relationships. Whether collaborating with medical professionals, product engineers, or leading sales teams, she aims to drive meaningful change and empower medical device companies to reach their full potential when introducing new medical devices.

Brandon Brenner
Lead CAD Designer & Engineer
Brandon has 15+ years of experience in CAD design in various engineering applications.
He started designing office furniture systems, moving into designing environmental test chambers for various companies looking to improve products exposed to the elements. Brandon was promoted to robotics, creating weld tooling and welding assembly lines for small and large manufacturers.
Brandon’s skills excelled in developing key engineering elements and procedural documents, greatly aiding his company and career successes.
As the lead CAD Designer and Engineer at Encoris, Brandon’s vast knowledge and skills are an incredible attribute in instilling customer confidence and organizing design and manufacturing operational flows.
